Boealps Basic course teammate Prash Bhat and I cruised down to Mt. Adams and took a little stroll up the hill. My desire to climb more, volcanoes was confirmed.

A great climb in part because it doesn't require roping up (on this route) - though prudence requires more than what I saw a lot of people doing up there! More on that later. We picked a lovely weekend and the summit was exhilarating

full report still needed... for now, pointers to two QTVR pans - which themselves are rough first passes.

Saturday night at the lunchcounter -- nice sunset. about 500k, a glimmer of alpenglow

Sunday summit pan -- pretty decent pan, really nice day, also about 500k.

and of course, a summit shot with Mt. Hood in the background. My camera didn't catch it, but we could see Sisters to the South, and lots of mountains way up North. Different to look -down- on Goat Rocks, which I recall doing hard slogging to get -up- into.
